Title: How to Create a DFS Root in Windows Server 2000
Objective: The objective of this demo is to teach you how to create a DFS root in Distributed File System (DFS) in Windows Server 2000. A distributed file system makes it easier for users to access shared files. Users need only go to one location on the network to access shared files and all the shares on a company network are available on that location, even though the files may be physically spread across multiple computers. You must restart the computer to enable use of the new Dfs root.
