Title: How to Change the Lease Time for Remote Access Clients in DHCP in Windows Server 2003
Objective: The objective of this demo is to teach you how to change the lease time of IP addresses for remote access clients in DHCP in Winodws Server 2003.The DHCP Server service can be deployed along with the Routing and Remote Access service to provide remote access clients with a dynamically assigned IP address during connection. When these services are used together on the same server computer, the information provided during dynamic configuration is provided differently than in the case of typical DHCP configuration for LAN-based clients. For LAN-based clients, lease time is configured in the scope. For remote access clients to recieve IP from DHCP; the Default Routing and Remote Access Class should be configured for lease duration.
