Objective: The objective of this demo/tutorial is to teach you how to translate Uuencode messages into Plain Text for POP3 in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Uuencode is an application that converts a binary file into printable 7-bit ASCII characters without loss of information. This allows data, such as images or applications, to be distributed through e-mail or news groups. You can translate incoming messages in the uuencode format to plain text. You can also choose a default character set that enables you to use Windows character sets rather than standard Internet character sets.
